Entry Requirements
Complete the following entry requirements to travel to Greece with your pet:
- Pets entering Greece must be fitted with a microchip.
- Pet travelers also require a proof of anti-rabies vaccination that shows vaccination took place at least 21 days before travel.
- Proof of rabies antibodies through a blood sample is required by an authorized member of the Panhellenic Veterinary Association, at least 30 days after vaccination. Approved Greek laboratory: Center of Athens Veterinary Institutions, Virus Department, 25, Neapoleos Str., GR-153 10 Ag. Paraskevi.
- If you're traveling from the U.S., obtain a health certificate endorsed by a USDA state veterinarian.
- Four-legged travelers from within Europe must be accompanied by an EU Pet Passport.
Quarantine Information
Pets traveling to Greece do not need to be quarantined if they meet all the necessary requirements listed above.
